Deadpool has made his way from the pages of Marvel comics to the Fortnite universe.
What happened:
Clues of Deadpool have popped up throughout the recent Fortnite season, and now he is finally here. The new Deadpool character skin dropped into Fortnite Friday, giving gamers a chance to play as the comic book hero. Anyone who bought the season battle pass can unlock the character if you complete one simple task. Find two pistols hidden in the menu screens. Once you find them, jump into the match, find a phone booth and hop inside. You will then become Deadpool. There's more than just a skin
According to The Verge, gamers can unlock Deadpool's katanas weapons and a different version of the costume where he's not wearing a mask. The Verge said: "Perhaps the most fun addition, though, is that the yacht in the northeastern part of the map has been transformed into a Deadpool party boat, complete with giant balloons and a helicopter landing pad." A history of Fortnite and comic books
Fortnite has teamed up with comic book companies to bring the characters to life inside the game. One of the first happened during the release of "Avengers: Infinity War" when Thanos appeared and left his infinity gauntlet in the game. The Avengers made a brief appearance in the game as well. Batman had a major impact on the game, as did Harley Quinn, the girlfriend of Batman's nemesis, the Joker.
