Ninja coming to London's Microsoft Store to shout-cast Fortnite matches

If you're jonesing to meet up with Fortnite superstar Ninja and live in the London area, you may just get your chance this weekend. Ninja and Mixer have organized a series of events at the Longon Microsoft Store at Oxford Circus, during which players will be able to take part in Fortnite matches for a chance to win a spot playing in a tournament shout-casted by Ninja himself.

Ninja is "dropping" into London.

Mixer and the Microsoft Store on Oxford Circus are proud to announce the exclusive opportunity to play in a custom lobby match shout-casted by Ninja.

On the 1st of November until the 3rd of November, players will be competing in public Fortnite matches where the top 4 PC Players and top 10 Xbox players will be invited to take part in a special Fortnite tournament. These places will be determined by placement and points.

If you're game to compete, you'll be able to take part in the events from 5 to 9 p.m. on November 1, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on November 2, and 1 to 6 p.m. on November 3. Anyone who qualifies for the event will get a chance to play in five games shot-casted by Ninja. Microsoft also says there's an "exclusive prize" for the winner of the event, and those in attendance will get a shot at earning other prizes.

Ninja famously made the jump from streaming on Twitch to Mixer earlier this year, marking a big win for the fledgling streaming service as it seeks to draw in more viewers and streamers. It was later revealed that the move was in part due to "toxic" Twitch chat and licensing restrictions. Mixer has made efforts to combat the latter with new chat tools that give streamers more control over problematic viewers.
